British-German supercar with Corvette engine will be serial

Supercar with an engine from Chevrolet Corvette, designed by the Munich automaker Sin Cars GmbH in cooperation with the British company ProFormance Metals, will be commercialized in two versions – in track and civil. Premiere vehicle certified for public roads, was held at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham.
The technology, dubbed Sin R1, will be built on a tubular chassis and using carboxylic body panels. According to the developers, the civilian version of the supercar turned 240 kilograms heavier than the track – his weight is now reaching 1,200 kilograms.

In the engine compartment mounted 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine rated at 450 horsepower. It allows Sin R1 to accelerate from zero to 96 miles per hour in less than five seconds. Maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.
For comparison, the track Sin R1 is equipped with 525-horsepower version of the same unit. He is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox Graziano. “Hundreds” such a machine is gaining in 2.5 seconds. Maximum speed is 322 kilometers per hour.

Sales in the UK civil supercar will begin in the spring. Cost starts from 60,000 pounds ($ 98,940).
