Company Chevrolet created supercar Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo with “laser” engine

The company Chevrolet developed a virtual supercar for racing simulator Gran Turismo 6. Prototype Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is setting in motion by the power plant operating on the basis of laser and will be available for download along with the next update of the game.
Supercar was created in honor of the cooperation between the company and Motorsports Chevrolet team Chaparral Cars, race cars which published between 1962 and 1970.

The laser system prototype generates power pulses, and then creates shock waves that provide “tremendous acceleration”. Installation is powered by a set of lithium-ion batteries and pneumatic generator. The total capacity of the engine is more than 900 units of horsepower.

From zero to 96 kilometers per hour prototype accelerates in 1.5 seconds and its top speed is 386 kilometers per hour.
Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo, built on the chassis of composite material, received 17-inch wheels with racing tires.
