Chevrolet introduced off-road pickup called Colorado ZR2

Chevrolet introduced the conceptual version of the pickup Colorado at the Auto Show in Los Angeles, which was called ZR2. From prototype production model is particularly trained to ride on the road.
Pickup has changed the front and rear of the body, due to which were increased angles of entry and exit. The prototype has 30.7 and 22.7 degrees, respectively, whereas in the embodiment of the production model Z71 it can reach only 25 and 21 degrees. In addition, the width was increase for 10 centimeters Colorado and five centimeters for the ground clearance.

The prototype is equipped with front tow loop, King dampers with increased speed, 18-inch wheels with off-road tires dimension 275/65, a full-size spare tire in the cargo hold and 121-centimeter rack jack.

Pickup Colorado ZR2 is also manned the new diesel engine family of Duramax. The working volume of the engine is 2.8 liters and its output is 183 horsepower (500 Nm of torque). The engine is combined with dedicated six automatic transmission.
